My name is John Burek, and I am a retired Master Sergeant from the New York Army
National Guard. I served as the First Sergeant of a Medical Unit in a Forward Support
Battalion during my time in Afghanistan. Throughout my career, I dedicated myself to
the health and welfare of my soldiers, emphasizing training to help them become the
best soldiers they could be. I trained countless soldiers as Combat Life Savers and
provided ongoing education for all the medics who worked under my supervision.
Additionally, I developed expertise in shooting skills and marksmanship.

My military career spanned over 28 years, and I take great pride in my service. I earned
both a Bronze Star in Afghanistan and a Combat Medic Badge, along with numerous
awards and recognition from my peers and superiors.

In my civilian career, I focused on saving lives as a registered nurse in an emergency
department. After retiring from both nursing and the military, I realized I needed a new
endeavor. I had always intended to start my own business, aiming to offer high-quality
products at competitive prices. While making a profit is important, I believe in giving
back to the community that has supported me. That’s why my website sells items at the
