The Redding 6.5 PRC Instant Indicator with Dial Indicator is a precision tool used by reloaders to measure critical dimensions of reloaded cartridges with consistency and accuracy. After resizing your brass you can quickly drop a case into the Instant Indicator to check shoulder setback (e.g. you want to bump the shoulder back by 0.002" for optimal chamber fit). You can also use it after bullet seating to ensure OAL consistency for tight groups.

The Redding Instant Indicator is a benchrest-quality measurement tool designed specifically for the 6.5 PRC cartridge. It comes pre-set with:

• A dial indicator already installed.

• A precision gauge body designed to hold your cartridge case.

• A 6.5 PRC-specific insert to ensure exact compatibility with your brass. 

  What It Measures:

1. Headspace from the datum line on the case shoulder (to check how much the shoulder is bumped back after resizing).

2. Case length to the shoulder (to track brass growth and when trimming is needed).

3. Base-to-ogive bullet seating depth (optional with additional bullet comparator insert).

4. Cartridge overall length (OAL) consistency.
